Our Long Term Care nursing facility is seeking motivated and compassionate RN Unit Manager to join our growing team. This is a Full -Time position for the day shift .
The RN Unit Manager is responsible for managing staff, overseeing patient care and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures over the course of their shift. The RN Unit Manager will promote and restore patients' health by developing day-to-day management and long-term planning of the patient care area, directing and developing staff, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary professional staffs and providing physical and psychological support for residents and their families.

The RN Unit Manager job functions are:
Provide resident care services with kindness and compassion to the residents.
Assist in developing methods for coordinating nursing services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the residents' total regimen of care.
Plan, organize, and oversee staff to provide patient care.
Evaluate care and ensures customer satisfaction.
Oversee the department's daily staffing requirements.
Orient clinical staff to their job responsibilities.
Participate in the development of written preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the nursing needs of each resident.
Implement and interpret organizational policies and procedures, and nursing standards and regulations
Job Requirements:
Must be a graduate of an approved nursing program.
Must possess and maintain a current, unencumbered NY state license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Previous RN experience in Long Term Care is required.
Two (2) years of experience preferred as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related health care Facility.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
